Abstract

The paper provides a brief description of the current level of the gas industry development in the Irkutsk region, featuring the structure and scale of its subsystems, resource potential, and natural gas production. Specific features and challenges of gas supply and transition to gas are considered, highlighting promising areas for the advancement of the gas industry in the region.
